By Bus: | The prison is located opposite the Mater Hospital on the North Circular Road. Entrance to Glengarriff Parade by Ormsby’s shop beside Mountjoy Garda Station. From Dublin City Centre take the number 10 or 22 bus. |

Visiting Times: | Normal visiting times are Tuesday and Wednesday 2.15pm-3.45pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-4.45pm (excluding lunchtime). Sentenced offenders are entitled to one 30 minute visit each week. All visits must be booked in advance by calling 01 8858982 Each prisoner may nominate up to eight adults to visit him (there is no limit on the number of children) and those visitors must produce photographic identification on arrival at the prison. Staff will explain the visiting procedures. Mobile phones are not allowed in the prison and there is a no smoking policy in operation during the visit. |

A minimum of 48hrs notice must be given when booking. A visit is not confirmed until a receipt email is received confirming date and time of intended visit from the prison. This should be printed off and brought with you to the prison when visiting.
