The Press Office operates as part of the Corporate Affairs Directorate of the Irish Prison Service. We provide a service to the print and broadcast media on behalf of the Irish Prison Service.

The Press Office also operates an out-of-hours on-call service for urgent media queries in relation to Prison Service issues.
