By Car: Take the N11 to Arklow and turn right at Beech Road beside Behans garage. Travel for approximately 1.5 miles then take a left turn at the road sign for Shelton Abbey. Alternatively check website www.aaroadwatch.ie for directions.
By Train: Arklow station is the nearest train station. Check www.irishrail.ie for service times. Transport is provided for those traveling by bus or train and this mini bus service will collect and return to Arklow station as required.
Visiting Times: Visiting times are 11am to 3.30pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Visits are by appointment only and photographic identification will need to be produced before entry. Visits are conducted in an open, family friendly environment and staff will explain the visiting procedures. Mobile phones are not allowed in the prison and there is a no smoking policy in operation during the visit.
